My wife (Leslie) and I were talking in the dining room of our home (not a home I recognized). Leslie got up to go to the kitchen and from the bathroom I heard my daughter (Calleigh) call out "the baby is coming, but I want to deliver it myself". I run to the bathroom and as I come in Calleigh is in the bathtub and I see the head of a baby and then out comes the baby and we heard the cry of the newborn girl. I go up to the baby and see the great look of pride on Calleigh's face as I pick up the baby and hand it to her. Leslie then comes in and we marvel together at this beautiful newborn baby.
Later, I am with the baby and looking to make sure she is ok and healthy. All fingers and toes, I check under her tongue and give her a good look over. I am so in love with this beautiful baby and I begin to play with her as if she was my own. She is making all kinds of baby sounds and I even get her to laugh. Meanwhile, Leslie and Calleigh come home from the store. Calleigh tries on some new shorts that Leslie bought to replace ones that for some reason had a defect or a stain. She tries them on but they are too big so Leslie takes them and is going to go back to the store to get another pair. I tell her that I will go since she just got back. She says "no" she is happy to go and she leaves. Just then I hear a crack of lightning and I look out our living room window (the room has one big long window across the whole room. It is an upstairs room so it is high up and you can see a long way off over the city through this window. I am holding the baby and Calleigh and I look out and see bolts of lighting light up the sky which is filled with a rich color purple along with dark clouds. As we look out we notice that the lightning isn't flashing it is just constant and almost frozen still in the sky. There are several big forks just etched in the sky as if it were a constant flow of light from the sky to earth with massive booms of thunder all around. I look at the baby and smile and she smiles back and I show her the glorious display in the sky. We weren't afraid but captivated by the sight. Calleigh points to a funnel cloud that has now appeared in the sky as it begins to rain and hail. It is a small tornado cloud, but not doing any damage but picking up steam and heading towards us. I see people outside running to get away. I start speaking to the funnel cloud and tell it to move away from our house and as it approaches it gets much bigger and things are starting to get swept up in it but before it reaches our house it moves and goes off to the side and around us.
Then Calleigh and I are sitting at the table and we are getting hungry and she asks "what are we going to feed the baby". In that moment I realize we don't have any food or any baby things like diapers, bottles, etc for the baby. I tell Calleigh to call mom to have her bring baby supplies, but just as she calls Leslie walks in. I get up to walk out to go to the store and tell Leslie we don't have any baby supplies and I am going to the store and Leslie tells me to stay. She says that Calleigh can breastfeed the baby. And we all look at each other as if to say "of course". We thought we needed to buy something, but Calleigh has what she needs already for her baby.
Then the dream flashes to me playing with the baby and I ask Calleigh if she knew what the baby's name was going to be and right away she said "Fawsie". Because she said it so fast I thought she was just making up words as a joke so I said "no really what do you want to name her" and she said again her name is Fawsie and it means "obey" and her middle name is Rene (my mom's name). We then talked about the meaning, but I can't remember the rest of the dream ...
