I am standing looking over an open field that has trees on either side, but in the middle is like a large circle plain. It is dusk and the sun has just gone down but it is still light enough to see. My kids and some other kids are running through the field having the best time. There are animals all around running and jumping and not at all afraid of the kids. I see kangaroos, foxes, deer, and many other animals all playing around in the field.
Next to me is my friend and we are watching all of this while in conversation. He is in a real depressed state. He isn’t at all excited about a potential move and yet staying where they (he and his wife) are is not working either. At one point he is in tears talking about the circumstances surrounding their lives at the moment. I begin to pray, asking the Lord to restore hope and reveal His goodness. That the very door of opportunity to break them out of this funk and it would be even better then they could ever have imagined.
Then we are laying on the ground covered in the grass, as if to stay hidden. The mother of my childhood friend is laying flat on her back and her feet are on my friend’s shoulders. The same for my friend as his feet are on my shoulders as we lay hidden in the field. My friend is calling in a food order for the mother and confirming with her that he got the order right. Then we begin to scoot ourselves together towards an opening at the end of the field. All the while my friend is getting calls from people back home who are covering his responsibilities while he is away. They have questions and he is walking them through how to do the job.
The End!
