Survival Mountain

Date: March 11, 2021

I am with a group of teens and young adults on top of a snowy mountain range. I get the sense it is like a youth camping trip because we all have camping supplies with us and we are enjoying the views from the mountain and whole experience.

Scene Change:

We are all being chased by ferocious grizzly bears. I see dead deers as we are running around trying to escape or hide. Throughout this scene we find ways to slow down the bears but they would eventually get free and continue to pursue us. We would fall down the hill and snow would pile over us, but nothing seemed to stop the bears' attacks. Our group got smaller with the assumption that some didn't make it. Some found ways to form make-shift weapons and some were able to kill some of the bears. There were scenes of us falling off the face of the mountain and bears falling after us as if they were possessed like crazy, lunatic bears.

Scene Change:

Then the dream changed, we are still on the mountain but instead of being chased by the bears we are chased by wild squirrels who are out to kill us. They are fast and we are finding ways to escape and in some cases kill them. We are now a much smaller group than how we started.

Scene Change:

The dream changes again and we are still on a mountain but the climate has changed from snowy with forrest and trees to more of a tropical jungle mountain range. We seem to have escaped the wild animals but there are only 3 or 4 of us left of the 20 or so we started with. We are eating food, tired, and covered in mud, wet and talking about our plans to get off the mountain. A car drives by, then stops and two teenage boys get out and ask if any of us were in charge and we say no. The taller kid says that he is the deputy of this area and now we have to obey him because he had established himself as the law. I say "well actually I am the governor so I have the authority", but he said "it is too late you can't say that now" after he had taken charge. The two of them start to demand that we give them our food, but we refuse and start to run. Just like before it is a wild run for our lives as these kids chase us. We split up and devise different plans to stop them at one point using frozen food such as tater tots to distract and confuse them. We fall off huge cliffs into water and all various adventures in our attempt to escape.

The dream ends with me and someone else telling a parent about all we encountered and how we eventually escaped.

The End
