Lamborghini / The House

Date: July 31, 2021

Lamborghini:

I am a passenger in a Lamborghini. I am not sure who is driving (I don't recognize them but we are friends in the dream). We get to a light and he sees two other Lamborghinis and I can tell he wants to show off. As they take off they start to race, however, our car is topping out at around 80mph and theirs are getting way ahead. The driver is so furious that the car has so little power. Then we look to the side and their is an older Oldsmobile and it has joined the race and has passed us. Now he is really upset. I suddenly ask what that smell is and by the time I realize it is the car the engine and it blows up.

The House:

In this dream my family just bought a new home in downtown San Diego. It is an older home, not a nice looking house on the inside. It has a lot of light because there are rooms that are unenclosed almost like a half atrium. The ceiling ends and the side walls are open with windows that go up half way up leaving it open for fresh air and a lot of light to come in. It is a small house and I am in the garage with our brand new washer and dryer doing laundry. I notice that our new washer isn't working and a guy friend that I know in the dream (but don't recognize him in the natural) asks if he should buy a new one. I say "yes" and will return the other one. He comes home with a new washer and I put in a load of laundry. I then realize that we already have two sets of washers and dryers and didn't need to buy a new one.

Meanwhile, I see water on the floor and the washer is pouring out water from the bottom and I start to move the washer to mop up the water, but realize that it is designed to pour out water at the bottom and the floors have a plastic cover on it and are curved at the end allowing the water to run off into a large drain that runs the length of the garage. I see this drain filling up fast and think something is wrong. It is going to flood. I then see some boards that are at the end blocking the water from reaching the drain. We remove them and the water drains properly. I ask "why would someone put these pieces of wood inside this large drain?".

Scene Change:

I am now with my cousin and we are talking about the washer and the new house. He has brought over my sister-in-law, my niece and nephew as well as my girls. They are playing with water guns and my sister-in-law is pregnant and they are squirting her with water. My nephew is really dirty and I ask him to clean up. I check the dryer and as I get clothes out I notice there are rocks all in the bottom of the inside of the dryer and I am shaking off all the clothes as they come out. They are my brother's clothes. My oldest daughter comes in and tells me that some guys have come back to see us and when I go to see who it is, my wife makes a face at me as if to say "hurry up and get them to leave". It is two guys who are salesman . They are looking around the house and congratulating us. My dad is with us and one of the guys is telling us how good it is to buy not rent and how there is so much corruption in the housing market in San Diego.
