Home Group

The dream starts out with me watching a late night talk show that has the cast of friends showing bloopers from various episodes.

Scene Change:

Then I am in Las Vegas with a group of friends and we are all.split up into smaller groups and going around town on Halloween, but it feels more like 4th of July because everyone has flashing lights on their outfits kind of like flashing glow sticks. I end up on the banks of a large lake with a woman I know in the dream but don't recognize otherwise and we are taking about being celibate. I am sharing how this night is the same as any other Halloween night, while for her it is the first time experiencing this holiday celibate (which I know to mean that she was newly saved). Then my sister shows up with her group and they also were sharing how strange it was to have been in downtown Vegas and seeing all of the people carrying on while they were not entering in as they had in the past. They could see the people's lights flashing in the bedroom windows all over town as people were having sex and they realized how strange that felt now that they were set apart. I am holding a silver serving fork from our family heirloom collection only this fork has a diamond in it. I am explaining to this gal that not all of the utensils are like this only a few have the diamond and this was special.

Scene Change:

Then it flashes to a freeway scene where I am the leader of a home group that met on different parts of the freeway three times a weeks (different groups on different days depending on what day worked for each person). It was in Santa Rosa, CA (where I lived in my twenties). One day we were on the freeway above the downtown mall and we were out of our cars meeting on the side of the freeway. Then it flashed to a meeting on a different day in a lobby of a large nice building. Me and a few others were on the floor waiting for the others to arrive.

There were people walking by entering into what seemed like a symphony hall because they were in tuxedos and fancy dresses. As more of the group arrive I realize that it is Halloween as people are dressed up. The group members come and they are parents from my old music school. Then we are wondering where the rest of the group was. We account for each of the missing members when someone mentions they are on vacation and will be back next week (I think to myself that is strange for so many to be on vacation over Halloween).

Scene Change:

The scene changes again and our freeway home group are all driving scooters and we.get off the freeway and go into a parking garage that has a security booth that scans your driver's liscense as you drive through. I have mine in hand and it flashes green as I go through. A girl after me has it flash red and the lady security officer pulls her over and sees that she doesn't have a driver's license it is a health insurance card so she can't continue with us. Then I am at the entrance again to go through and another girl I am with is nervous because she forgot her license. I tell her to follow me because I know she has a license and is legal to drive and that in the license express lane she could get through without a problem. We.both go through the Express lane no problem. We then are at the same spot again and begin to go through and a different guard tells me to go through the other lane and not the Express so I do without issue but the other girl gets pulled over. She shows the guard her card and it is an EMT identification card not a license and the guard says she can't go in.
