Hidden Super Heroes

There was a group of men and women who I recognized as super heroes. Similar to the Avengers only without costumes, capes, shields or any of that. They looked like regular people only they were strong in stature and their only external characteristics that revealed who they were was their unwavering confidence. They knew who they were and what they were born to do.

I saw them all gathered together and it was decided that for their safety they would need to separate and be hidden. I saw them all sign individual contracts that signified their willingness to be hidden inside someone else until an appointed time.

Scene Change:

I saw a man falling backwards out of a plane. He waived goodbye as he fell towards the earth. As I watched, I wondered how he was going to land. Although he had on a backpack it didn’t appear to be a parachute or any kind of landing gear. As he approached the ground at great speed I saw him turnaround and hit the ground with both feet and start running. He had landed in a war zone and instantly began fighting. He has a flaming sword and everywhere he ran he would cut the enemy down.

Scene Change:

Suddenly, it felt like years had past. This same man was giving a speech or some type of presentation in either a courthouse or a government building. As he finished he walked away from the crowds to the outside of the building and down the steps where another man recognizes him and says “I know you”. The man replies “sorry, I don’t know you” and continues to briskly walk away. All the while this other man follows behind at a distant. As the man reaches what looks like Central Park in New York, the man following comes out from around a corner and again says “I know you”. The man disregards him and continues on his way. Then the other man walks up to his wife and baby and this catches the attention of the man, so he stops to talk to the family and see the baby. The man and his wife are a good looking white couple in their late thirties and they have a beautiful black baby boy. The father talks about the difficulties of raising a child and the man agrees that child raising has its challenges, but tells the father he has no idea of what is ahead since "you are only in the baby phase. The real challenges are still ahead". The man continues to tell him "right now your biggest challenges are avoiding being spit up on," and just as he said that the baby spits up on the fathers shirt. The wife and the man both laugh and the man walks away.

Later the father would find the man again only now he is aggressive and insistent that they know each other. They begin to wrestle and as they do the man can hear two voices and sees two red triangular beings come out of the father. They are talking and the man can no longer hide the fact that the two beings are a part of a team and had been hidden inside this father’s body. The heroes were now emerging from hiding. The man got up from the ground and saw two of the signed contracts on the counter and quickly took them and put them in his suitcase and began to walk out of the house. The father quickly came up behind and took out the contracts read them and instantly they both were once again returned to their original form and no longer hidden within another’s body. They then began their mission to track down and find all of the others and set them free and unite once again for their time had come to fulfill their purpose.

Their first stop was at an apartment and the man knocks on the door and hears a woman’s voice that sounds suspicious so he knocks again only now with his gun drawn ready for whatever might greet him on the other side of the door. The door opens and it is a woman in her nightgown. She asks why the interruption but the man gently pulls her out of the house and she becomes aware of who she really is and they leave to get the others.
