Bowling

Date: July 11, 2021

I am in a bowling alley and it is packed full of people and there are narrow hallways to get to the lanes. There are two sets of lanes, one on each end of the building with a narrow hallway connecting the two sets of lanes. I am on one end and my mom, brother and friend are on the other end. I am bowling a good game and begin to notice that my brother, mom, and I are all bowling the same....I bowl a spare, so do they, I bowl a strike, so do they. So after a while of realizing that we are all equalling each other's score I walk down to them to check it out. Now we all have one pin left after our first bowl and my brother is up first and knocks his pin down for a spare, then my mom does the same. It is now my turn but because I am not at my usual lane I need to find a ball to knock down my last pin. All of the balls are too small but I finally find one my fingers can fit in but it is attached to three other smaller balls with a rope. I look at this green ball with three small black balls connected to it and I think "this could actually help". When I look at the lane to begin to bowl I realize that I now have five pins to knock down instead of one and it is an impossible shot the way they are situated. Then I look at what I am holding and know that this could do the trick.

So I fling this cluster of balls down the lane but at the last minute my pinky finger gets stuck in a hole of one if the small black balls and it flies down the lane awkwardly. However, it still manages to knock all of the pins down. I look to see the score and my brother notices that the power went out right before I knocked the pins down so there is no score. I then walk back to my own lane and the building is now jammed packed with people, so much so that I can hardly make it down the narrow hallway. I get to my lane and the power comes back on.
